Andrei Vankov is a Senior Applications Engineer at SENKO, specializing in fiber optic interconnect solutions for GPON, 5G FTTA, FTTH, and Data Centers. He holds a postgraduate degree in Engineering from Thomas Edison State University and a Master’s in Electro-Optical Engineering from Penn State University.

With 30 years of experience in fiber optic connectivity, Andrei has successfully led numerous communication projects across the United States. His career includes pivotal roles at multinational companies such as SUMITOMO, Winchester Electronics, RFS/NOKIA, and SENKO.

Based in New York, USA, Andrei is an active participant in IEC and TIA standard groups, contributing to the advancement of industry standards and technologies.
