
Content Guidelines
The PEG Advisory Board has observed that conference attendees prefer presentations rich in technological content rather than sales or marketing pitches. Our commitment to impartiality has made PEG a leading conference for education and the application of electrical protection principles in today’s networks. To uphold this reputation, we ask that speakers adhere to the following guidelines:
- Focus on Solutions, Not Products: Center your presentation on problems, solutions, and technologies rather than promoting specific company products.
- Rigorous Review Process: The Advisory Board will thoroughly review submissions to ensure they provide in-depth information and are relevant to the conference program.
- Emphasize Practical Insights: We encourage presentations that highlight case studies, best practices, and real-world results.
- Engage the Audience: Presentations should cater to the audience’s interests and be 30 minutes long, including time for questions and discussion.
- Content Considerations: Embedded videos and audio files are discouraged due to the possible limitations of the conference’s audiovisual equipment. Animated content is acceptable.
- Presentation Details:
- Length: 30 minutes, including audience Q&A.
- Notification: Selected speakers will be notified by November 1, 2026.
By following these guidelines, you will contribute to the high-quality, informative, and engaging experience that attendees have come to expect from the PEG Conference.
Hands-On Demo Details
- Length: ~90 minutes
- Delivery: Hands-On Demos are designed to give all attendees a first-hand look at or experience with a technology or application.
- Continuing Education Credit: Upon request, the PEG Advisory Board will consider issuing continuing education hours to those who complete the Hands-On Demo at the conference.
- Note: PEG Hands-On Demos are not permitted to be product pitches.
